Breanna & Bobby's Wedding!

Bre & Bobby's wedding was March 28th! I can't believe it came and went so fast! I have a ton of pictures from it, but just put up a couple to show a glimps of the night. It was a beautiful wedding!

Monterey Weekend!

Joel & I had a great time in Monterrey this past weekend. Joel used to scuba dive there a lot and hasn't been in a while, so we thought we'd spend some time there relaxing instead of our usual Pismo/Avila Beach destination. I hadn't been to Monterrey since I was a little kid when my Mom took my sister and I to the aquarium, so it seemed all new to me.

So as you can see from the pictures, we did everything we could there. We took the 17 mile scenic drive through Pebble Beach Golf course and saw all the amazing houses. We did a little wine tasting and ate delicious cinnamon rolls. We had yummy clam chowder at Fish Hoppers and Joel had crab at Bubba Gumps. Joel also found those hats we were wearing at a shop and loved them, so we bought those while we were there. It got pretty cold in the evening, so the hats kept us warm!

We drove back on Easter Sunday and made it to dinner at Jill's house (Joel's Mom) and spent some time with his family. Jill made some amazing deserts (my favorite- the fruit pizza and Joel's was the berry pie). So definitely a great weekend!

Busy, busy, busy!

Let's see...where to start? Joel & I have been super busy lately. I'll tell you all a little of what we've been up to. We were able to spend some time with Joel's friend Alan and girlfriend Ashley who were visiting from Wyoming last week. We had a few friends over for St.Patrick's Day evening to celebrate the holiday. We managed to go to Pismo for a day. Joel also was sick with bronchitis last week (he's so much better now). And Joel has started in his new position with the University of Phoenix in the Academic Dept! I've also kept Joel busy helping me with projects around the house. And yes...I'm still not done painting. Hopefully by the end of April I will have completely finished painting all the rooms in my house. I'm not a fan of painting, but I want to get it done! So Joel and I are going to the Fagan Wedding (Bre & Bobby) this Saturday and we have rehearsal dinner tonight! And April doesn't seem like it'll be a slow month either! So we are just keeping busy and enjoying spending time with family and friends whenever we can! I hope everything is great with all of you and I'll try to keep you all up to date with our future adventures! :)

Pismo Beach

Joel & I went to Pismo last week with friends. The weather was perfect and we had Splash Cafe clam chowder. Can't beat that!

Play Date!

I took my niece Maddy to the park on Saturday to play with Peyton (my friend Angela's baby)! Here they are on the swings! They are SO Cute!

LA Trip!

Joel & I went to LA is past weekend to watch my niece Reilly play in a club soccer tournament with her team, the Gunners. I played club soccer when I was younger, so it was fun for me to be on the cheering end this time. Reilly played goally for the first time and did a great job at it!

So Joel and I made the most of our time in LA. We met up with our friends Angela and Ryan Friday night for drinks at The Highlands nightclub on Hollywood Blvd. Then Saturday we watched a few soccer games and had time to visit Malibu Winery for wine tasting. It was a cute boutique winery...and just so you know- the definition of boutique is expensive. But hey everything is expensive in LA. It makes you appreciate Bakersfield!

Then on Sunday we spent the day at Universal Studios. I haven't been there since I was probably 8 and Joel has never been there, so it was fun to check it out together. We watched the stunt shows and took the tours. Fun stuff!
